One of San Francisco’s most revered shops for Cantonese-style duck and pork will be moving out of its longtime Chinatown neighborhood.
Hing Lung will sell its last roasted birds at 1261 Stockton St. on Sunday, April 7, owners told the Chronicle. Hing Lung’s owners say rent is increasing on the 43-year-old business’ space, and that the building is in poor condition.
“We believe this move is necessary for the well-being of our team and customers,” the owners’ message partially read.
