The Exploratorium aims to demystify artificial intelligence this summer.
San Francisco’s famed science and technology museum will host an “Adventures in AI” exhibition from June 12 to Sept. 14, allowing visitors to learn how AI works through games, interactive activities and hands-on experience with current generative models while also asking visitors to evaluate the use of AI tools and consider how they might positively or negatively affect society.
“We found very early on that our visitors wanted a sort of balanced and nuanced view,” said Allison Roach, the Exploratorium’s director of temporary exhibitions. “People didn’t want to hear just the positives or the negatives. They wanted a fuller view.”
