Good Afternoon SF Guides,

SF has many fine dining restaurants.

However,
SF no longer has Doggie Diner.
And though Doggie Diner was founded in SF’s neighboring step-sister city of Oakland,
I always viewed Doggie Diner as being very campy SF.
It was the Dachshund heads of course that were the attraction.
The coffee was,
if one dared to try it,
somewhere between horrible and terrible,
depending upon how many hours had passed since it had been made.
The food was equally horrendous.
Nevertheless,
The place did have free parking!
Doggie Diner Hot Dogs are still served at the extremely overpriced Oracle Park.
There much better now,
and much more expensive as well.
And that’s very SF too.

Bob,best hotdogs in the Bay Area are the traditional Kaspers Hot dog.  Original on MacArthur.   Chicago hot dogs but don’t go to Caspers since it’s the brother that broke away from Kaspers way back when!!
