Fillmore good for scatter shopping stop?
Author Last Post
Easy to drop on side street and driver can go off and return for pick up. Japantiwn has great
 shops and stores

Hi all,

Is Fillmore street fun for scatter shopping, or is Union Street better? Any other suggestions (not union square or pier 39)

Where could we drop in a coach?

Thank you.

Alison,

Somewhat of a tough call....How much time you got?

My wife & I like Fillmore. Great booze in D&M liqours. Admire their VINTAGE Armanac selection.
Take my advice & you'll owe me an $1100 bottle of 1929 Armanac.

Couple of interesting consignment/antique shops. Body care & good food. Nice Aglianico at Pizzaria Delfina.

Much more, of course.

Combine it with the Japantown Mall if you have 2 hours. Add in the Victorians & views & pooches in Alta Plaza park & you'll wow 'em.

As for the drop/off pick up, don't laugh, but a possibility is New St. Mary's Cathedral. You won't upset your driver, this way. This somewhat remote drop off depends on your group of course. Bad idea for mobility issues.

MIYAKO HOTEL (east bound Post St.) has white curb space. Should be easy on Miyako staff because they have a very separate carriage entrance.
