WFTGA Conference in Japan February 2026
Hello fellow San Francisco Tour Guides
November 30th is your last chance to sign up for the WFTGA conference in Fukuoka, Japan!
So if you have been thinking about taking advantage of this opportunity to visit Japan with a professional tour guide association, now is the time to sign up.
The conference itself lasts 5 days (February 9-13) and the theme is Sustainable Tourism for the Future. There will be workshops, hands-on training, and study tours, as well as a grand opening ceremony and closing event.
I am also excited about the Pre and Post convention tours:
Pre tour is Feb 5-9 starting in Fukuoka
Post tour is Feb 13-17 ending in Kyoto
So far over 400 tour guides from around the world have registered for this event, including our President Greg Quist as well as other members of the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild and yours truly.
