The perfect Tour Guide for your tour or event!

SFTGG guides are experienced professionals who can assure a successful visit or event. Our members can create a custom tour, whether your needs are for an introductory tour or a subsequent “tour like a local”. Only SFTGG members that have achieved Certification are recommended, assuring researched commentary and operational expertise. Guild guides work as independent contractors and all arrangements should be made directly with them.

Be sure to discuss timings, pick up and drop off locations, and what attractions you would like to see. For airport assignments, reimbursement of a guide’s travel time and parking expenses is customary. Also, for one-direction assignments, reimbursement is customary for a guide’s travel time and transport expenses to return to starting point. Tour Guide Rates

  • Tours with English Based Narration

    • $300 minimum for up to four hours, $60 per hour thereafter, rounded up to nearest hour.

  • Tours with Foreign Language Based Narration

    • $325 minimum for up to four hours, $70 per hour thereafter, rounded up to nearest hour

  • Airport Greets, Transportation, Other Services

    • English: $200 for thefirst four hours. $40 per hour after + parking/BART/transportation.
    Non-English: $225 for the first four hours, $45 per hour after + parking/BART/transportation.

    Reimbursement expected for out-of-pocket expenses (parking/BART/transportation) as well as compensation for items such as use of personal cell phone, printing of documents (manifest, OPS, greet signage), travel time to airport and meal allowance when warranted.
