A Virtual Walk through Stern Grove with Lorri Ungaretti

Discover this 63-acre city park, the jewel of the Sunset District. Take a virtual walk through beautiful meadows and learn about the area’s colorful history, including how it escaped being turned into a residential community.  Get an  update on the current status of Stern Grove after severe flooding devastated parts of the grove.

Lorri Ungaretti is a San Francisco native who has written five books about the western part of the city. She is a city guide who leads three tours in the Sunset District. She is the managing editor of The Argonaut: The Journal of the San Francisco Historical Society and a  former member of the board of directors of the Western Neighborhoods Project and of the San Francisco History Association.
