Mission District Walking Tour with District 9 Supervisor Hillary Ronen
HIllary has graciously agreed to offer us a birds-eye view of her Mission District this next Thursday morning from 10:00 am - 11:30 am. We'll be gathering at Dianda's Bakery at 2883 Mission Street, between 24th and 25th Streets. Access is simple either by MUNI or BART.
In that Hillary is recovering from knee surgery, I think the format will be much like that which we enjoyed with District 3 Supervisor Aaron Peskin last February, a lot of dialogue and not a huge amount of schlepping.
I'm very excited about this in that I don't know the Mission that well compared with other neighborhoods. I hope that your curiosity is also piqued and that you'll join us on our adventure. And, if anyone likes, we could also hang out in the hood and have a bite afterwords.
