And a very exciting bug in your ears, the SFTGG will represented by a delegation at the 2026 WFTGA (World Federation of Tour Guide Associations) Convention in Fukuoka Japan from February 9th - 13th, 2026. There will be a number of pre-program and post-program events also taking place.

For only four days, the Tree of Remembrance will be at the Asian Art Museum to honor the legacy of the original Wakasa Memorial Monument. This installation reflects on the painful chapter of American history that began with the signing of Executive Order 9066 on February 19, 1942, which led to the forced removal of Japanese Americans from the West Coast to incarceration camps during World War II.
