For over 200 years of Presidio history, change has been a constant - from a small Spanish fort, to a Civil War fort, to a major American military post, to a National Park. Hear stories about each era of the Presidio’s history, including a doomed love affair, desertions, a Union spy, fears of invasion, buildings of note, and visions for an urban park.

Your narrator is SFTGG BOT member Stephen Johnson, who has given tours of the Presidio and Alcatraz for many years for the Park Service.
